Hate these nights where I just can't seem to tear myself away from my PC. I'm doing nothing and would be better off sleeping, but C goes to sleep super-early nowadays. She's sleeping now, trying to overcome illness. I'm already assured to win the spread betting pool. But I'm still up.
Had some biryani for lunch after forgetting to bring the lunch I'd packed last night. Ginormous meal. Because C was sick and requested some food from Trader Joe's, wound up skipping lunch (as M was WFH/out, and I had to stay 'til 7 at work). Picked up steaks and a few more Thanksgiving-y items; C had already eaten and was about to conk out when I got home at 9.
Restless. Overheard a trader talking about moving out of a $4300 apartment to a $6300 or some-odd apartment. Had been woefully scanning for apartments recently and dropped it fairly quickly. LinkedIn looking more interesting.
Just need to summon the willpower to back off and relax - maybe read a little - and sleep. More than halfway through The Great American Novel now.

Nice little Sunday. Woke up and C was already outside and about buying food at a farmer's market. Tasty little morsel for breakfast! At C's request, managed to do some wiping down of the kitchen floor. Went off for a "frontal" workout at MC Gym.
When I got back, C and I went to Lionshead Tavern near Columbia to watch the Patriots-Lions game. Aside from some bumbling of wings flavoring, it was very enjoyable. Seats at a table, cheap beer, chili cheese fries, and five games playing on all sides. Helped that I went 6-2 against the spread and the Patriots won an easy one.
Came home after the early games and I pondered a bit before making a run to Associated for ingredients to make an imitation Chipotle burrito bowl. Busted out the George Foreman grill and all, plus I got to use some rarely seen "white meat" from chicken. C (who's battling some illness) loved it. I thought it was just alright, but what makes her happy that I do feels so worth it.
Caught some Celtics, stared at the spread some more, and probably gonna read a bit before showering and turning in for the night.
